David Cismowski Appointed Chief of State Library Services Bureau

We're pleased to announce that David Cismowski has been appointed Chief of the State Library Services Bureau (SLS) by Stacey A. Aldrich, State Librarian of California.  SLS is the public face of the California State Library, and includes the California History Room, Government Publications, Information Services, Witkin State Law Library, Braille & Talking Book Library, and the Sutro Library in San Francisco.  David will also oversee behind-the-scenes work in special collections, preservation, cataloging, and acquisitions.  He formerly served as Supervising Librarian of the Government Publications Section.  Please see our press release for more information.
