Reforming California Juvenile Corrections: The Santa Clara Example

Santa Clara County’s new juvenile rehabilitation program was the focus of a recent panel discussion sponsored in part by the State Library’s California Research Bureau (CRB).  Based on the Missouri Model, this enhanced rehab program for high-risk, high-need youth offenders was successfully implemented at the county’s juvenile ranch facilities.  Check the California Research Bureau Projects webpage for summaries and PowerPoint presentations from the event.
