CRB Seminar on the New Face of Youth Homelessness

Voices from the Street: Homeless Youth Speak Out on State Policy, a video on the new face of youth homelessness, will be screened at the State Capitol on December 1.  Hosted by the State Library’s CRB (California Research Bureau) and the California Council on Youth Relations, the program includes a discussion on the economic crisis’ impact on California's homeless youth with panelists Nell Bernstein, author of Voices from the Street: A Survey of Homeless Youth by Their Peers; Rob Gitin, Director of At the Crossroads outreach program; and youth researchers.

 

The seminar will be held from 10:30 to noon on Tuesday, December 1 in room 4203 at the Capitol.  For more information, contact Lisa Foster at lfoster@library.ca.gov or (916) 653-6372.  Please RSVP if you plan to attend.
