Article extolling library value from Albany, CA city manager appears in national public management magazine

Beth Pollard, Albany, California’s city administrator, has written an article that underlines the importance and value of libraries.  Entitled "Libraries:  Partners in Sustaining Communities," the article appears in the March 2008 issue of the International City/County Management Association’s (ICMA)’s Public Management (PM) Magazine.   

ICMA , located in Washington, D.C., is the premier local government leadership and management organization. Its mission is to create excellence in local governance by advocating and developing the professional management of local government worldwide.
