EIGHT COUNTY LIBRARY BRANCHES REMAIN CLOSED WED., OCT. 24
Twenty-Five Locations Will Reopen Wed., 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Eight branches of the San Diego County Library system will remain closed on Wednesday, October 24 because of the wildfires that are covering considerable portions of the county. All stops of the North and East Mobile Libraries are cancelled.

Potrero
Ramona
Rancho San Diego
Rancho Santa Fe
Valley Center
All other SDCL branches will be open Wednesday from 10a.m. to 5 p.m.

The overall situation will be reassessed on a continual basis and media releases issued as the situation changes.
The County Library operates libraries in 11 incorporated cities and all the unincorporated areas of the county.
Fines will be waived for those materials due tomorrow, as will fees for books lost in the catastrophe. Insurance company, police reports, Red Cross affidavits and news accounts of property losses will be relied upon to document claims of books destroyed in the fires.
