Now showing at the California State Library is “The Sting of Dennis Renault:” an Exhibition of Editorial Cartoons. The exhibit, which celebrates the 150th anniversary of the Sacramento Bee, features Renault’s ingenious and stinging editorial cartoons published from 1971 to 1998 McClatchy Newspaper chain of the Sacramento, Modesto, and Fresno Bees.
California State Library special collections librarian Gary Kurutz curated the exhibit which runs through October in the Mead B. Kibbey Gallery of the Library and Courts II at 900 N Street in Sacramento, California. The exhibit is free and open to the public Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm excluding holidays.
